    Tractor Supply Company is investing in its indirect procurement team and has some exciting, essential roles available.

     

    This key position will join a procurement team focused on strategic sourcing and continuously improving procurement policy, processes, systems, data analytics and reporting while providing legendary customer service to our internal and external stakeholders.

    This role will report directly to the Manager – Procurement Operations and Analytics and focus on supporting the strategic sourcing   team and their data/ reporting needs.  If you are process oriented, well organized and enjoy continuously improving business practices while delighting stakeholders, this may be the perfect opportunity for you.

    Responsibilities

    • Gather, prepare, and cleanse data to support procurement analytics initiatives.
    • Build financial models in support of sourcing activities.
    • Building strong relationships with stakeholders and providing passionate and empathetic internal customer service.
    • Subject matter expert for procurement data, reporting and other functional infrastructure building.
    • Develop and execute continuous improvement ideas, in alignment with the Manager – Procurement Operations and Analytics overarching vision and game plan.
    • Support category manager teammates with tactical aspects of strategic sourcing and procurement. This is an incredibly valuable way to learn the procurement profession, or to further build out one’s procurement acumen.
    • Support stakeholders on various aspects of procurement operations as questions or challenges surface. Create proactive feedback loops to assist with continuous improvement efforts.
    • Play a key role in developing and conducting training for on-going activities and as new strategies are implemented.
    • Routinely provide ideas for improvement across the entire procurement organization
    • Troubleshoot and resolve opportunities to improve, particularly those that may impact store operations or the bottom line.

    Qualifications

    Experience:  

    A minimum of 1-2 years of procurement, supply chain, continuous improvement, systems support, project management, change management and/or related experience. Experience with procurement processes and systems is preferred.

     

    Education:

    Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Supply Chain Management, Information Technology, Business Administration, Project Management or a related field is required.
