    Job Purpose

     

    The Promotional Pricing Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the preparation, review, and loading of promotional pricing downloads to the stores, identifying and resolving price conflicts, and ensuring that these price loads are accurate and complete in terms of SKU selection, pricing and promotional dates.

    Responsibilities

    • Work closely with the Advertising Department, this position coordinates promotional pricing preparation for all events including Circulars, End Caps, Special Events, Mailers, Grand Openings and Items of the Month. Schedule workflow timelines, creates Promotional Workbenches, verify and validate promotional loads entered by the Buying Teams and activate completed workbenches. 
    • Proof circulars to align promotional workbenches with advertising prior to printing. Proof printed circulars against the workbench files and follow up on identified conflicts or issues with the Buying Teams prior to ad break dates.  Make adjustments to the pricing files to correct or mitigate any pricing issues.  Work closely with the Manager of Pricing Administration to validate and ensure compliance to all TSC Promotional Pricing procedures and policies.
    • Work with Advertising, the Buying Teams and the DMMs, the Promotional Pricing Coordinator schedules, builds, obtains approvals, activates, and reports Manager Special events to Pricing Management, the Buying Teams, Advertising and Store Operations. Maintains the Manager Special lists and prepares a spreadsheet for Store Operations to publish to the stores.
    • Review, research, analyze, respond to and correct issues and questions from the Buying Teams, the Help Desk and the field for all areas of promotional pricing. Interact with Store Operations communications coordinators to ensure correct promotional pricing communication to the stores via the Mule.        

    Qualifications

    Experience: 2 years in a retail environment.

     

    Education: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university required.  Any suitable combination of education and experience will be considered.

     

    Knowledge/Skills/Abilities/Training/Systems 

    • Proficiency in Excel, Word and Power Point required.
    • Excellent ability to manage to deadlines, within budget required.
