    Job Purpose

     

    The Merchandise Initiatives Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the processes required to prepare a merchandising initiative /special project to be implemented and completed, including providing information to the Store Support Center, Vendors, District and Store Managers and organizing needed supplies/fixtures for each initiative/project.

    Responsibilities

    • Handles all accounting paperwork and communication including invoicing and billing for each merchandising initiatives/special projects, including filing for each and system updates/receipts
    • Serves as a contact person to district managers, store managers and vendors regarding merchandising initiatives/special projects from inception to completion
    • Guides store managers through the merchandising initiatives/special projects
    • Orders and assures delivery of all vendor point of purchase material
    • Maintains/updates training materials, procedures, timelines and other written documentation as it relates to initiatives/special projects
    • Assists with information gathering and validation of store and planogram information
    • Maintains the merchandising initiatives email box
    • Handles any CERs for each merchandising initiatives/special projects
    • Maintains a weekly update recap of projects completed and projects being executed
    • May perform other duties as assigned

    Qualifications

    Experience:  Retail experience preferred

     

    Education:  High School education; any suitable combination of education and experience will be considered.

     

    Knowledge/Skills/Abilities/Training/Systems 

    • Proficient use of Microsoft Office
    • Good organizational, communication, and analytical skills
    • Displays a detail-oriented approach to daily activities and a self-starter attitude
    • Ability to multi-task
