    The Workforce Management (WFM) Analyst position will support the rollout and ongoing success of Tractor Supply’s new Workforce Management application.  The WFM Analyst will provide the insight and analysis needed to promote execution, productivity, and growth across our 1750+ stores.  In addition, they will also provide support and direction for enhancing the Workforce Management application to help improve the customer and team member experience.


    1. Gather and maintain data from the WFM tool and other internal or external sources.
    2. Analyze large amounts of information to discover trends and patterns and uncover solutions to business problems.
    3. Identify and develop reporting around key success metrics to measure.
    4. Create models to forecast results of various enhancements to events or procedural changes.
    5. Provide reporting and commentary to field and senior leadership to drive business objectives such as improving employee engagement, customer service, and profitable growth.
    6. Observe, measure, and refine labor standards for store activities to improve the accuracy of the WFM tool.
    7. Ad-hoc analytical and process improvement projects as needed.


    • 3 - 5 years of related business, financial, or data analytics experience
    • Experience with workforce management software is preferred but not required
    • Previous retail experience at a corporate or regional level is a plus
    • Additional years of related experience may be substituted for the required education

    Education:  Bachelor’s degree (Finance, Business Administration, Analytics, IT or related field) from an accredited college or university preferred.  Any suitable combination of education and experience will be considered. 



    Successful candidates must have:

    • Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail to meet deadlines
    • Good written and verbal communications skills with field operators as well as executives and other leadership
    • Ability to work independently and with little supervision
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office software especially Excel and Access
    • Experience with Tableau and Alteryx highly preferred.
    • Cognos report writing experience a plus
