    This Summer 2019 Internship will be a 12-week internship starting on May 13, 2019 and ending on August 2, 2019. This listing provides all of our accounting and finance internship openings.     Working at our Store Support Center in Brentwood, Tennessee, as an intern, you will work alongside TSC professionals in a variety of areas of Human Resources and Store Operations to make a real impact on our business. You will have the opportunity to work on projects in the department, get exposure to day-to-day operations and have a successful and meaningful internship.

    Responsibilities

    Projects you will be working on will include:

    National Marketing:

    • Performing regular competitive research and reporting to National Marketing / Marketing leadership on findings.
    • Helping to create marketing plans related to chain events, sales, product launches, etc.
    • Exposure to working with various marketing channels including print, email, website, digital, social media, PR, radio & TV
    • Training in universal marketing processes including Project Management Software (Workfront), developing creative and media briefs, interpreting research data and reporting on results
    • Direct mentorship that focuses on developing a deeper understanding of general retail industry & professional best practices
    • Assisting the National Marketing Team on additional projects, as needed

    OR

     

    Digital Marketing:

    • Partner with National team on the budget
    • Work with designers on digital creative and messaging for website banners, landing page, etc.
      • Design banners in Photoshop
    • Influencer campaign
    • Fan engagement campaign (contest/photo gallery)
    • Attend PR meetings
    • Report on performance
    • Surveys and Focus Groups
      • Present a recommendation brief on the value of focus groups at TSC to understand the customer and refine creative messaging prior to launch
    • Work on competitive research and future state recommendation
    • Misc. Projects
      • Pinning new articles on Pinterest
      • Join Kenshoo meetings to understand paid social media technology and strategy
      • Competitive research

     

    Qualifications

    Current student at an accredited university

    • Freshman, Sophomore, Junior, Senior or Graduate student
    • Analytical Skills
    • Excel
    • Project Management
    • Strong Communication Skills
