    This Summer 2019 Internship will be a 12-week internship starting on May 13, 2019 and ending on August 2, 2019. This listing provides all of our accounting and finance internship openings.     Working at our Store Support Center in Brentwood, Tennessee, as an intern, you will work alongside TSC professionals in a variety of areas of Human Resources and Store Operations to make a real impact on our business. You will have the opportunity to work on projects in the department, get exposure to day-to-day operations and have a successful and meaningful internship.

    Responsibilities

    Projects you will be working on will include:

    Compensation:

    • Ensuring all JD’s are in newest template and loading into the TMS system.
    • Pull data and work with consulting firm on results. Analyze data to ensure pay equity within our organization.
    • Work with compensation team to analyze store monthly bonus program and assist in determining new program options, costs, etc.
    • Review the competitiveness of store pay relative to the market and make recommendations to address pay issues

    OR

     

    HR Technology

    • Assist with creating a project plan to improve and enhance the internal applicant process.
    • Advertising and communication regarding applicant tracking system reporting, to team members and hiring managers
    • Enhance the team member referral program for both referrers, referees, recruiting team members and payroll team members

    Payroll Complliance

    • Research projects - Research employment law and HR trends impacting business operations
    • Support HR Compliance Team by assisting with pre-employment screening and unemployment claims
    • Support HR Compliance Team by coordinating internally with various departments to produce responses to subpoenas and personnel file requests

    OR

     

    T&OD

    • Facilitation of Core Classes
    • Analytics concerning feedback surveys
    • Create training program for DC safety trainers
    • Use of Question Pro survey tool
    • Graphics creation
    • Work in TMS with tracking completions or setting up training

     

    Qualifications

     

    • Current student at an accredited university
    • Freshman, Sophomore, Junior, Senior or Graduate student
    • Analytical Skills
    • Excel
    • Project Management
    • Strong Communication Skills
