    This Summer 2019 Internship will be a 12-week internship starting on May 13, 2019 and ending on August 2, 2019. This listing provides all of our accounting and finance internship openings.     Working at our Store Support Center in Brentwood, Tennessee, as an intern, you will work alongside TSC professionals in a variety of areas of Human Resources and Store Operations to make a real impact on our business. You will have the opportunity to work on projects in the department, get exposure to day-to-day operations and have a successful and meaningful internship.

    Projects you will be working on will include:

    Financial Planning

    • Provide updates to the budget model in preparation of the coming budget year
    • Provide initial budget loads for store expenses related to utility expenses
      • Analysis of the budget load to ensure all data is accurate
    • Data prep & validation for various forecast projections related to Medical Expense and DC expenses
      • Analysis of the data to ID any changes in trend
      • Research to identify basic drivers of any changes from prior forecast



    Internal Audit

    • Perform walkthroughs and tests of design and operating effectiveness of Tractor Supply’s Sarbanes Oxley internal controls
    • Help with other projects as needed




    • Assist in calculating quarterly estimated income tax payments
    • Devise a schedule to track transferrable tax credits purchases, and prepare tax return schedules
    • Assist with the pursuit and claiming of tax and other economic incentives related to future stores and existing distribution center locations




    • Current student at an accredited university
    • Freshman, Sophomore, Junior, Senior or Graduate student
