    Job Purpose


    This position is responsible for identifying, recommending, implementing and improving store operations processes, working with management to implement projects to increase productivity, and providing guidance and expertise. 





    • Identify and develop tools and resources, as well as recommend and implement changes to optimize store operations processes by cross-functional collaboration
    • Complete engineering analyses of proposed changes to store operations and develop appropriate adjustments to standards. Update all operating labor standards whenever a new process is introduced or an existing process is changed
    • Design, develop and document procedures and work flows while working with other departments including distribution operations, training, Human Resources, Risk Management, Loss Prevention, and IT
    • Identify, quantify and communicate opportunities for improvement in store operations; help coordinate and manage implementation of said improvements
    • Validate and ensure that labor and operational processes minimize cost and maximize efficiency
    • Develop, review and/or adjust SOP’s to ensure maximum efficiency
    • Lead special projects as needed. Compile total cost and benefit of proposed projects including evaluation of effect on labor, equipment, etc. 
    • Provide functional support for the store operations systems and assist in resolving related systemic and/or operational issues
    • Support the development and execution of store operating and capital budgets
    • Identify, develop and document all business cases and ROI and model all new processes
    • Teach, coach and train to enhance operational execution and efficiency


    Experience: 3+ years of related experience.  Experience with labor management systems


    Education:  Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or Industrial Technology



    • Problem solving, communication, organizational, time management, and multi-tasking skills
    • Ability and proficiency with Microsoft Office products
    • Ability to write and enforce policies and procedures
    • Ability to write policies, procedures, and executive summaries
