    Job Purpose

     

    The Manager of Supply Chain Analysis is responsible for identifying trends and driving recommendations of change to improve cost, time, and quality across the entire supply chain.  This role leads a team of analysts identifying tactical and strategic changes leading to landed cost reduction throughout the supply chain (product costs, freight, labor, & inventory), and flow channel management. 

    Responsibilities

    • Supervises the work of supply chain analysts and responsible for their development
    • Drives changes that will lead to improvements to logistics processes, packaging, landed cost reductions, and improve company profitability
    • Oversees the organizations Line Review process, decisions and timelines for the entire Supply Chain
    • Works cross functionally with the merchandise, sourcing, planning, inventory management, pricing, and logistics teams to plan merchandise flow, channel management, and total cost of ownership
    • Identifies and evaluates opportunities for cost and time reduction throughout the entire supply chain
    • Works with the omni-channel team on proper sourcing and fulfillment for online orders

    Qualifications

    Education:  Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, logistics, or any related field.  Any suitable combination of education and experience will be considered.

     

    Experience: Minimum of five years in logistics, preferably in a retail environment, with strong people leadership experience.

     

    Knowledge/Skills/Abilities/Training/Systems

     

    • Strong demonstrated analytical, communication, interpersonal and leadership skills
    • Thorough understanding of end to end supply chain processes and costs
    • Strong financial acumen and understanding of operating statement and balance sheet ratios
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office software especially Excel and Access
    • Ability to self-motivate, work with a sense of urgency, and to prioritize tasks
    • Display a detail-oriented approach to work
    • Ability to positively handle conflict
    • Capable of solving complex problems
    • Capable of working and leading in a cross functional environment
    • Ability to travel 20% of the time
