    The Developer, IT Service Mgmt is responsible for developing, testing, deploying, maintaining and supporting Tractor Supply Company’s IT service management (ServiceNow) and related systems software suites based on input from business stakeholders, end-users, best practices and management.


    1. Develop, modify, configure, administer, and tune software applications related to ServiceNow and associated software suites. Build integrations between systems and applications, creating intuitive user interfaces.
    2. Meet with technical peers, and vendor partners to deliver with service scope and vision, system goals, identify and resolve system issues, and ensure the system is implemented as designed and in adherence to the implementation guidelines.
    3. Participate in 24x7 on-call rotational technical support to solve business problems and document resolution.
    4. Participate in the execution of testing as part of the quality assurance process.
    5. Ensure processes and procedures are properly documented, communicated, audited, and deployed in compliance with established procedures.
    6. Identify and group information into consumable metrics, analysis, graphs, reports, and presentations.


    Experience: 3 - 5 years equivalent work experience developing IT service management software required.


    Education:  Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field or equivalent experience.


    Professional Certifications: ITIL v3 foundations certification preferred.


    Other knowledge, skills or abilities:

    • Experience with software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodology.
    • 2+ years’ experience developing using JavaScript.
    • 2+ years’ experience with web services technologies (REST, JSON, SOAP, HTTP, SSL, XML and GIT).
    • Strong technical knowledge of ServiceNow ITSM platform and/or other IT service management tools, principles and concepts.
    • Strong knowledge of programming languages and relational database concepts, structures, theories, principles and practices.
    • Proficient in MS Office Suite.
    • Strong understanding of security and development best practices.
