    Job Purpose


    This position is responsible for supporting operational activities on the E-Commerce site including but not limited to production support, issue triaging, release planning, reporting and application performance monitoring. This role will work closely with business partners, application development and infrastructure teams to understand and meet various operational requirements.




    • Coordinate operational readiness activities for large implementations and holiday season support
    • Triage environment issues, daily content issues, and bugs in a multi-component environment.
    • Determine release readiness based on release criteria, quality of release, production environment readiness, training and support plans, rollout and back-out plans, and risk management plan.
    • Track and manage service tickets, production defects and change requests, ensuring that SLA requirements are me.
    • Manage and communicate service level reports, site metrics and key performance indicators to stake holders
    • Manage communications on releases, maintenance, critical incidents and site issues
    • Participate in implementation and improvement of new or existing operational tools, reports, change management policies and procedures
    • Assist manager in the coordination of implementation and testing efforts for project and maintenance releases, infrastructure and application patching
    • Work closely with the performance team improving site performance monitoring tools and reports
    • Partner with application and operation teams across the organization and vendors to improve SLAs



    • 2 -5 years of experience in IT or service industry
    • 2+ years of experience in customer service and/or technical support
    • 1+ years of experience in IT eCommerce operations


    Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Systems.  Any suitable combination of education and experience will be considered.



    • Knowledge of eCommerce application environments, development and deployment processes, site analytics and performance management required
    • Good understanding of Retail/eCommerce industry domain
    • General knowledge of web technologies and software development process
    • Knowledge of monitoring tools/scripts to check the systems/server health
    • Knowledge of APM and Synthetic Monitoring tools
    • Proficiency in MS Office Suite
    • Ability to define processes and procedures to manage major and minor release cycles
