    IT Supply Chain Applications Managers!  Is your area of expertise is Warehouse Management Systems and/or Transportation Management Systems and are you known as a people leader? Do you have an outstanding track record of large on-site implementations/project rollouts? You will be responsible for managing and coordinating the analysis, evaluation, development, testing, and implementation of the logistics software applications for a growing Fortune 500 company. This requires comprehensive knowledge of the configuration, development, upgrade, and implementation of enterprise warehouse management systems and other associated logistics systems. Additional responsibilities include technical leadership, mentoring other team members, and leading projects. Expertise with Manhattan Associates WMS and/or TMS is a big plus!

     

     

    Responsibilities

     

    • Manages analysis, evaluation, development, testing, and implementation of software applications.
    • Manages and participates in the development and implementation of goals, objectives, policies, and priorities for the IT logistics team.
    • Manages staffing, including recruitment, supervision, scheduling, development, evaluation, and disciplinary actions.
    • Plans, directs, coordinates, and reviews the project & support work for the IT Logistics team.
    • Defines and implements policies and procedures for supporting applications through the product life cycle.

    Qualifications

     

    • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent years of experience.
    • 8 years of information systems analysis and application development experience to include 3 years direct supervisory experience managing a technical team.
    • Proven experience in overseeing configuration, development, upgrades, and implementation of software packages is required.
    • Experience with managed services is preferred.
    • Experience with software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodology. Comprehensive knowledge of logistics business processes.
    • Comprehensive functional knowledge of enterprise warehouse management systems (Manhattan, SAP, etc.) and other logistics systems.
    • Comprehensive knowledge of resource capacity planning.
    • Superior project management skills.
    • Superior ability to work independently, work in a fast paced environment, and manage workload prioritization to deliver high quality work products on time with minimal direction.
    • Superior critical thinking skills with the ability to develop completely new problem-solving approaches and formulate innovative solutions.
    • Demonstrated collaboration skills with the ability to handle conflict and to work with a distributed team.
