The DC HR Generalist position is responsible for supporting the management of Human Resources (HR) activities, programs and policies that directly relate to the local distribution center (DC). These programs and policies include compensation, employee relations/labor relations, recruiting and employment, employee diversification/Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO), performance management, training, and employee communications.
Experience: 2-4 years HR experience, preferably in a DC or manufacturing environment.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field is preferred. Any suitable combination of education and experience will be considered.
Professional Certifications: None.
Other knowledge, skills or abilities:
Strong leadership, problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently.
Detail-oriented approach to work.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
Ability and willingness to flex working hours to support a multi-shift operation.

Required to walk the DC daily involving a physical environment that is subject to temperature extremes, movement of mobile and fixed equipment, and other conditions associated with warehouse operation.
