    Job Purpose

     

    The Digital Marketing Manager reports directly to the Director of Digital Marketing and is responsible for managing the digital team, implementing digital best practices and executions across owned, earned and paid channels. The ideal candidate is a data-driven digital marketer with broad skills in SEO, SEM, Content Marketing, and Digital Media (media planning, media buying, audience development, measurement, and data storytelling). Accountable for performance-based results, the position requires a sense of urgency and the ability to operate on strategic, tactical, and creative levels while coordinating and managing all launch aspects of Digital Marketing initiatives. The candidate will work with Marketing and Omni Channel teams to develop go-to-market digital plans while also managing digital agency relationships. The role is responsible for delivering media recommendations, campaign performance, reporting and optimization recommendations to the Digital Marketing Director.

    Responsibilities

    • Manages digital team to plan, create and execute digital campaigns aligned with overall strategy and business goals
      • Partners with Merchandising, Omni-channel, offline Marketing and other cross-functional teams to develop measurable digital programs that drive interest, consideration and sales
      • Manages campaign development timelines and budgets
      • Manages execution of Digital Display campaigns and tactics including agency relationships, landing pages, creative approval, and post-campaign reporting and optimization
      • Manages Affiliate Marketing program strategies, tactics, and vendors
      • Oversees the website marketing team to deliver site content and promotions
      • Communicates campaign and customer insights and opportunities to help refine brand positioning, messaging, targeting and budget allocation
      • Informs key stakeholders on campaign performance
      • Coaches and develops digital team members responsible for SEO, SEM, UI/UX, and creative traffic process.
    • Strategy development and tactical execution of assigned Digital Marketing activities
      • Develops strategies and apply tactical expertise to identify, assess, execute, and analyze Digital Marketing opportunities designed to reach and engage target customer segments
      • Coordinates with CRM Marketing team to support targeting, segmentation, and personalization strategies for digital campaigns utilizing test/control methodologies to assess campaign lift and ROI
      • Works with internal teams and 3rd parties to execute personalization strategy across digital channels
    • Develops, implements and manages processes to streamline and improve digital marketing reporting, analysis and continuous improvement processes:
      • Manages digital team to create post-campaign performance analysis, improvement plans, KPI reporting, monthly, quarterly, and annual performance reports.
      • Presents reporting to key internal stakeholders
    • Monitors competitive and industry digital marketing trends, tools and resources
    • Collaborates with Omni-channel and Marketing teams to develop integrated media plans and measurement strategies
    • May perform other duties as assigned

    Qualifications

    Experience:

    • 5-7 years of Digital Marketing experience with an industry-leading retailer, digital marketing agency, or media agency
    • Demonstrable track record of business results through Digital Marketing, preferably within a retail environment
    • Experience across the digital media landscape (including PPC, SEO, Content Strategy, Affiliate Networks, Social Media, Online Media Planning, Web Development and Analytics) 

    Education:

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or related field

    Knowledge/Skills/Abilities/Training/Systems 

    • Positive attitude and excellent problem-solving skills
    • Data driven, curious, proactive, and self-motivated
    • Ability to produce high-level strategies and translate them into tactics
    • Good oral and written communications skills
    • Expertise with PowerPoint and Excel
    • Experience with Photoshop
    • Strong project management skills; Ability to multi-task and prioritize various projects
    • High degree of technical proficiency
    • Ability to lead effectively in a collaborative, team environment.
    • Preferred: Google Certifications (AdWords, Analytics)
