    This position is responsible for performing intermediate to advanced level administrative duties for the employee benefit plans and programs at Tractor Supply Company (TSC). This position focuses on health and welfare benefits administration, applied knowledge of benefit regulations, TSC enrollment and plan provisions, and Human Resources Information System (HRIS) system expertise.

    Responsibilities

    • Oversee the maintenance and processing of employee benefit records through the online benefits enrollment system to include auditing of weekly reports, verifying keyed data, testing configuration changes, and auditing enrollment data of third party vendors.
    • Perform the reconciliation and auditing of the HRIS payroll files and benefit premium payroll adjustments to ensure accurate and timely payment and refunds of benefit premiums.
    • Manage dependent documentation verification to maintain benefit plan compliance.
    • Participate in the annual open enrollment process by implementing new benefit programs, preparing the benefits enrollment system, and verifying the transfer of data to external contacts for plan administration.
    • Manage the Hawaii Medical Plan enrollment process to include Consolidated Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act (COBRA) and annual open enrollment to ensure timely notification and enrollment processing for team members in Hawaii.
    • Analyze and approve all employment status change requests that affect benefit eligibility and enrollment to ensure benefit plan compliance.
    • Verify Qualified Medical Child Support Orders (QMCSO) and coordinate with the court system to ensure all QMSCO’s are enforced in compliance with applicable government regulations.
    • Prepare stop loss reconciliation of high dollar claim data to track all payments ensuring refunds are recovered.
    • Provide customer support to internal and external customers pertaining to general Human Resources (HR) and Benefits information.
    • Train and/or support Benefits team members as needed.

    Qualifications

    Experience: 3-5 years of experience working in Benefits Administration.

     

    Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field is preferred. Any suitable combination of education and experience will be considered.

     

    Other knowledge, skills or abilities:

    • Strong interpersonal, analytical, problem-solving, communication and organizational skills.
    • Ability to work independently.
    • Detail-oriented approach to work.
    • Ability to enforce policies and procedures.
    • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Access, and PowerPoint
    • Strong presentation skills.
